Founder & Executive Director
"One day she had a dream, and she just went for it." My name is Adrian and I am a seasoned Hair Stylist, Editorial Artist and Hair Educator with over 15 years of experience within the Hair Industry. Over the duration of my career, I have witnessed the disparity between quality hair education and affordability, as well as the psychological and physiological byproducts of working in the hair industry. On the other hand, I also witnessed the compassionate and giving nature of hairstylists, and how transformational the hair experience can be for clients sitting in a stylists chair. With some careful thought, I came up with The Empower Hair Group as a means to solve gaps and disparities within this industry, as well as to build upon the compassionate nature of hair stylists to empower lives in our local communities. Together we will move this industry forward in wellness, solidarity, compassion and intention.

My name is Christina (she/her) and I am a Freelance Filmmaker and Artist located in the Bay Area, California. I’ve held various leadership positions in a diverse range of clubs and organizations over the years. I am proud to serve on The Empower Hair Group Board. Experiencing hardship and poverty at a young age, I was incredibly fortunate to be supported by the hands of my community. I believe that contribution and aide has the power to be life-changing; its impact lasting well beyond the event of giving. With The EHG, I seek to help shift the lives of individuals in search of change, opportunity and an expansive future.

My name is Austin and I was raised in the Silicon Valley of California. I found my passion in community service in 2015 when I began my 8 year journey in emergency medical services (EMS), which gave me the honor of connecting with and serving disadvantaged and medically underserved patient populations. My experience in community connections led me to The Empower Hair Group, bestowing me with the privilege of bringing The EHG’s mission to life by connecting communities, funding socially progressive programs and recruiting hair stylists that give a damn.
